Strong is Sexy

Can we talk a little about weight loss and strength training?
  

Ladies, the benefits of strength training go far beyond just losing weight (think Osteoporosis prevention) although that is a huge benefit.

I get it if you're overwhelmed or don't know where to start.  Let's talk about that!  There are plenty of ways to get started.  I have a couple plans up my sleeve to solve that but in the meantime, I challenge you to go give it a try.  If you don't want to go to the gym, go pick up a set of dumbells at Walmart or Target and practice at home.

  1. I love strength training. I feel like it is a very important part of ANY workout. I like to do ankle weights. Really tones and makes me stronger for my runs!

  2. Thank you for the challenge. We have several sets of dumbells in the basement...I need to start using them. I feel it's especially important for waifish people like me to weight train!
