Weekend Recap: Photo Shoots, Tubes and Mezamashii

Toddler and SprinkerAll I can say is Wow, what a weekend!  As always we had it packed to the gills.  Friday I had to take E to the Doc to have them valildate what I already knew.  E's 6th ear infection was not gone and that we are now going to have to have tubes to help get rid of these once and for all.   What I wasn't expecting was a series of three shots starting Friday, going Saturday and Monday.  He was not a happy camper but he had forgotten all about it by that night.  We spent the night playing at home. As you can see, E was happy playing with the sprinkler.

Mezamashii ProjectOh, my Mizuno Wave Riders came in on Friday!  I was SOO excited.  These could not have come at a better time.  I'm in such a rut right now and was looking forward to a Brilliant Run.  If you haven't heard of the Mezamashii Project, you should check it out.  It's such a unique program from Mizuno that has it all figured out!  Unfortunately, they were a half size to small so I'm going to have to exchange them.  I seriously can't wait to take these out for a spin or ten.  :)
Slide and TeddySaturday we started the day helping my baby sister move into her new apartment which is just 1 mile from me!  I'm so excited.  I love having family so close!  Then it was off to have our second shot.  He took it like a champ..nothing some mommy cuddling couldn't cure.  Then it was a friends son's birthday party.  As you can see, teddy is still very much in the picture.
I've also been asked by a couple companies for a full body shot and a head shot and I've been sending them iPhone pictures which hasn't gone over well.  Sadly I don't have time or the money for a full on photo shoot so luckily my sister-in-law who is also an amazing blogger helped by taking some pictures.  Take a look.  What do you think? I think they are great for an impromptu photoshoot.  These were taken at 10:00 p.m. Fitness Expert       Fitness Expert

Sunday was more family time.  We got to spend time with S's family.  Then I finally found time to squeeze in a quick workout.  Unfortunately, this was one of those weekends where fitness took a backseat but tomorrow is a new day and I'm re-energized and ready to crush a week's worth of workouts!

Don't forget that the MomsLittleRunningBuddy Fitness Challenge is still open.  We'll pick a winner from those that have signed up through comments on the post to receive a free pair of shoes from TakeItRunning.com

OOHH..I almost forgot..MomsLittleRunningBuddy now has a Facebook page..Feel free to "Like".  I'll post special content there and only there.  You won't want to miss it!

What did you do this weekend?  Have you had any experiences with tubes?  What do you think about the photos?

  1. You photos look great! Yes, sounds like you had a jam packed weekend. Sorry to hear that E has to have tubes put in. We were lucky in that department and our boys didn't have many (any?) ear infections.
