Buyers Guide for the Fitness Enthusiast

If you have a fitness enthusiast on your Christmas list, you're in luck!  There are so many great products out there that are perfect as stocking stuffers or the big things that won't fit under the tree.  You can pretty much find something in any price range.  To help you, I've created two Pinterest boards, one for stocking stuffers and one for other fun gift ideas.  So let's run down a few:

Stocking Stuffers:
Hydrate - Everyone needs to stay hydrated during a workout.  It doesn't matter if you're running or doing yoga.  So why not get some Nuun?  You can find it at many major retailers (REI, True Runner) but you can also order it online.

Head Gear - If the person you're shopping for has long hair, try stuffing their stocking with some sparkle.  A sparkly soul headband won't slip and adds a little sparkle to any workout.

You might still be able to find a discount code.  Try using "CyberMonday" when purchasing.

Safety - If you're loved one is planning on doing any outdoor activities (i.e. walking, running, biking, etc).  Get them a GoSportID.  It's the perfect way for them to keep emergency contact or medical information close.

I can't stress enough how important it is to be safe. An ID is the perfect way to give them piece of mind.

Bigger Gifts:
Ok, now let's look at some bigger, items.

Shoes - Almost every good workout starts with good shoes.  If they are planning on running, a good pair of shoes is soo important.  There are so many great brands such as Mizuno, New Balance, Asics and Saucony that you will sure to be able to find the right shoe for them.

Try heading to your local running store for advice on what to get.

Clothes - I love workout clothes.  I would buy nothing but if I could.  To help keep them motivated, try getting them some new clothes.  There are tons of great brands but if you're shopping for a female, check out Oiselle.  They are a small company out of Seattle that specializes in running gear but it's so versatile that you could wear it anywhere for anything.

Eye Wear - Outdoor activities like running and biking means sun protection. Brands like Oakley, and Maui Jims make great glasses that will give them all the protection they need.

Tech Gear - If you're fitness enthusiast is also a techy...try getting them some of the latest tech gear.  From new earbuds, which are hugely important for the gym or running, to gps watches, there are so many things to choose from.  Here are some options:

Time Saver - If you're looking to save them some time, why not try getting them some home gym equipment.  I know as a mom of one and one on the way, I would love to have a more equipped home gym.  You don't need a lot but a few pieces can lead someone to a very successful fitness life.

A bosu ball can be used so many ways and gives any fitness enthusiast so much variety!

A medicine ball is a great tool.

Those are just a few of the many options.  Be sure to follow my Pinterest board for more great ideas.
