Sometimes pictures tell the story better than words. We spent the Christmas break in Florida with family. This was the first year without my dad which made the fact that many of our extended family were there even more special.
Hopefully your Christmas was filled with family time and memories. What did you do?
Looks like a fantastic way to spend time with family! I was in the cold snow in Ohio visiting family. Loved the family part, did not love the snow part!

Florida looked like tons of fun! I love the way you did it in pictures. My Christmas was spent in Houston with family. Had first Christmas in our new house :) Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHope that you had a great time in the first difficult year without your father. Being with your family is your best support. It is so sad that your brother couldn't have been there. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that your SIL knew just what to say to get her on no travel/bed rest so she could spend Christmas with her parents at their home. She tried getting out of going last year, but it didn't work. This year she made sure she had an air tight scheme going. I feel for your naive and kind brother. Bet when the tests come back, all will be well, and she will be able to do what she wants after getting what she wanted. I know that this must have been a thought in all of your minds especially, your mother. So sad that someone would resort to such a scam.
