For Two Fitness Review and Giveaway

And the Winner is Entry #1.  Madeline Glasser!  Email me your address and sizes and I'll make sure you get your prize.   This giveaway is now closed.

Week 24 is upon us and I'm getting excited.  We are making SOME progress in the babies room: the desk is now in the basement, and the nursery bedding is in.  We haven't made any progress on names though.  We know the middle name but have not found a first name that we like.  There are soo many cute girls names.  It's hard to chose.

What is going well are my workouts.  I did 4 workouts last week including 2 Nike Training Club workouts, and 2 45+ cardio sessions.  The even better part is I have appropriate clothing to work out in thanks to For Two Fitness.  They sent me an awesome tank that is perfect for my ever growing belly.

If you haven't heard of ForTwoFitness, it is a company that specializes in Stylish Maternity Fitness Apparel.  Their styles are awesome and I don't feel like I'm going to show everyone at the gym more than they bargained for with this tank on.

If you are or know someone that is pregnant, I definitely suggest you check it out and I'll even give a discount code you can use till February 1st.  Just use "FitGiveaway" at checkout to get 20% off your order (excludes giftcards).  I think I'll be using it myself to get the capris.

I love it so much you'll probably see me wearing it on Fox 2 here in STL on Wednesday morning.  Tim Esell and I'll be going through a workout specially designed for us moms-to-be.

So what's better than an awesome discount code (not much that is pretty sweet)?  But Amanda over at  Fit Pregnancy and Parenting Blog are teaming up to giveaway one lucky winner an entire outfit! A tank and pants.  That's crazy!  And remember, this would make a great gift for the expecting mom in your life.

Also throughout the week, over FitFluential Moms-To-Be will be hosting giveaways of their own with Moms-to-be in mind so stay tuned for more to come!

In the meantime, are you ready to enter?  Use the Rafflecopter below to register.  The giveaway will be open for two weeks! Good Luck!

  5. There are so many cute girl names, but we were the exact opposite. We had a hard time picking the middle name, the first name was easy! You look so cute, I love that green top!

  7. My best advice for moms-to-be? Hmm I'm not a mom quite yet, but I would say the best advice I've heard so far is to do what's best for YOU and YOUR family, whatever the decision may be. Everyone is different!

  8. We have been playing the name game lately and it feels good to make some decisions! We have 4 girl names (no middle name) and 2 boy names (middle name SET) - and I have a top contender for each. Girl names are actually harder for us (my daughter was unnamed for a little while after she was born!).

I've been eyeing those shirts. I usually wear those tanks from Target when I'm pregnant, but they have not been cutting it this time! I think it's because I'm so much bigger. Whine, whine... :)

  9. I'm not a mom quite yet so no advice... but I'd love the t-shirt!

  14. I don't really have any advice as I'm a first time mom due in July but I'll come back and read for advice :) My favorite thing so far has been reading tips and real life experiences from pregnant/momma bloggers!

  15. My advice would be to listen to your own instincts!

  16. You look wonderful. The right name will jump out at you when you see or hear it. Perhaps you won't know till she's born and she brings it with her!

  17. My sisters favorite advice - get all the sleep you can now :)

  18. My advice (at 30 weeks pregnant) is to listen to your body. You can do anything pregnant for the most part and your body will tell you when its time to stop something. From reading "Exercising through your pregnancy" by Dr Clapp and talking to my OB i have discovered that it is ok to workout on your back in your 2nd and 3rd trimester as long as you feel ok and if you feel dizzy stop and roll over. Being on your back is only bad if your are laying still (like sleeping). I actually was able to do crunches until 22 weeks and then it started to not feel right so i stopped. I am still doing glute work and other ab exercises on my back in the 3rd trimester and i feel amazing:) But again listen to your body while i may be able to do stuff on my back others may not be able to. I still am able to run 3 days a week...my max is now 10km and was 16km in my 2nd tri. I also do circuit weight training, yoga, snow shoeing and am going to try out cross country skiing this weekend:) I love that my body has allowed me to still be so active! I hope the next 10 weeks allow me to do the same...although i am slowing down which is ok! Ha ha i am growing a human after all and as long as i can still be active thats all that matters!

  19. That tank is so cute! I would advise that you take all the advice (solicited and unsolicited) that you get with a grain of salt and do what feels right for you and your baby!

  20. Best advice is to relax and enjoy every second

  22. Best advice: every experience is different and some of the blogging world likes to sensationalize motherhood. Not everything will be perfect or easy but it will be worth it!

  29. I'm a FitFluential gal and am 19 weeks today. I would love to find more of you out there!!! :) Best advice that I have so far - keep moving. Even if it's slow or difficult, you are doing you and your baby a world of good!

  30. Best advice for preggo moms...keep that body moving, rest when you can, and embrace this time. It is over before you know it!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Best advice, keep moving even if walking is the most you can do. Also to relax and try to enjoy something about the pregnancy each day. I wasn't a big fan of being pregnant with my first but on my second I tried to look at the good things (like not having to walk around sucking in all the time because, hey - you can't!)

  34. My best advice is to trust your gut! You will get so much info from so many people, but always do what feels right to you. Also, if you're breastfeeding, it DOES get easier :)

  35. What??? I had no IDEA this company existed! Thank you!!! I am 25 weeks with #9 and ran a half marathon on Dec. 1 at almost 20 weeks :) I was so proud of this and I have been continuing to walk and run. I have never been so fit during a pregnancy before and would recommend this to all those who are expecting. Just because you get a positive pregnancy test doesn't mean you have to stop your fitness! Keep exercising and eating healthy if you can!!

  39. This is such a cute outfit. It is important to be as active as possible while pregnant. It is not easy, especially in the first trimester, but I am hoping it pays off.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Best advice for new moms? Sleep when baby sleeps (it's okay not to get everything done!) and be active with your baby early on. I started walking daily with my 1st son when he was just a few days old and was running with him by 4 months. At 2, he now loves the outdoors and can't wait to get in the jogging stroller! I plan on being the same wasy with #2 (I'm 29 weeks now).
