Happy First Day of Summer..How about some Nuun

Wow!  It's finally here!  The first day of summer.  That means it's officially swimsuit season!  Yikes.  But it also means it's officially...train your heart out time. 

I know I've seen a lot of people with a lot of great races coming up and I'm super happy to be one of them this summer. 

July is going to be a busy month for me in terms of training because not only am I training to do the Rock 'n' Roll half marathon in Chicago on the 21st but I've just added a Sprint Triathlon on the 28th just for giggles. So it's time to get back on the bike which I'm really excited about.  It's the area I can make the most progress I think but it also means it's an area I need to spend sometime on.

I know, it's a little crazy but it's so much fun and I'm super excited. Lot's of training in my future!  That means lots of hydration too!  Lots of NUUN hydration.  It goes with me everywhere. 

Now I know, I've been neglecting you on the blog recently and I'm sorry but I want to make it up to you.  I want to make sure you're hydrated this summer too so I'm giving away some Nuun just to say I'm sorry and happy first day of summer.  You'll get one of the classic flavors: Tri-Berry and one of the new flavors (and my personal favorite right now)..   1. I know I'm going to be needing some Nuun in my life! I am training for my first marathon in September. I've done two halves this year and I have the NWM in October - I haven't decided whether to do that as a full or a half yet...I guess I'll just see how the marathon in September goes!

  4. Right now I'm not training for anything as I'm a few weeks away from a little one of me own! But my husband is training for a marathon in August and he loves Nuun just as much as I do so I know he could use it!

  7. I just tried Nuun a couple months ago, too and loved it!
    What am I training for? The future :) I'm coming back from knee and hip surgeries this past Spring, so I'm training to be back to 100%, hopefully by next Spring.

  10. Last summer I trained for my first half marathon. This summer I'm training for labor! Staying hydrated while being active during the Florida summer is a definite must.

  22. I'm training for several half marathons in the fall, a Tough Mudder, five fulls in the fall/winter, and an Ironman 70.3 in a year! Good things come to those who work! ;)

  24. Im training for my first half-ironman (july 14th)!!!! Crazy!!! Once that is done I am training for my 6th marathon this fall!! Big things to train for, keeps me focused and working hard!

  28. I am planning on beginning training with Team in Training as soon as my 2nd daughter is born in October! I would love to complete the Tarheel 10 Miler next April since I needed to drop to the 4 mile race this past year while pregnant!
