- I’m amazed by how intuitive maintaining the yard is for my husband. It’s like the yard is his baby and he knows when it’s time to feed it. I know his dad was a good role model but still.
- I’m amazed by how beautiful my kids are. I know, this is coming from their mom and maybe what I should say is that I’m amazed at how blessed I am to have two beautiful healthy kids. Every night before I go to bed, I go into each of their rooms give them a kiss, take a quick second to just love on them then head to bed counting my lucky stars they are in my life.
- I’m amazed by how much better I feel after running in the AM. I get up excited to run knowing that the rest of my day is MINE for whatever I need to do.
- I’m amazed I didn’t discover #3 sooner.
- I’m amazed by how wonderful crockpots are.
- I’m amazed by watches. I love them. I don’t care how digital our world gets, I will ALWAYS love a beautiful watch but I do love my digital watches too.
- I’m amazed at how social media can turn complete strangers into some of your closest friends.
- I’m amazed at how I have a closet full of clothes but finding an outfit to wear to work can be the most torturous experience in the AM. I wish I would wear running shoes and running capris all day.
- I am amazed at how much enjoyment I get at seeing a package on the front porch with my name on it. It never gets old.
- I’m amazed at how anyone could deter someone from working out or staying healthy. I met my husband at the gym and sometimes I take that for granted. A big part of what works for us is knowing that health is one of our top priorities. We make a lot of compromises in order to make sure the other gets to do what works for them. I hear some people say their spouse doesn’t understand and that makes me sad.
Please tell me I’m not the only one that thinks random thoughts while running.
What are some of your random running thoughts?
What are you amazed at? Can you relate to any of these?
#8 made me late to work yesterday. I always lay my outfits out the night before, but when I put it on, I didn't like it. I went through 4 options before I had to go or I'd miss a meeting.
ReplyDelete#9 I get emails from my doorman when I get a package, and it brightens my day. Yesterday, one of them was a package full of pantyhose, which meant I also didn't have to do laundry last night. It was a good day!
It's crazy! I think I know what I'm gonna wear then it doesn't work out!
Delete#2 You kids are the sooo beautiful
ReplyDelete#3 and #4 YES and YES. It is just the alarm clock that sucks
#7 Yep what a strange little world we live in, but it amazing!
Thanks! I love it!
Deletewhen I WALK Im stunned in my new hood how FLIPPING SERIOUSLY these people take halloween!!!!
ReplyDeletethey decorate like it's CHRISTMAS around here.
Really? I didn't think Halloween was that big of deal.
DeleteI'm amazed by many of the same things as you! #2, #3, #5 (YAY for crockpot weather!), #7-9. Love this list!!
ReplyDeleteI know!! Crockpot weather is the best!
DeleteI am sometimes just plain amazed by my fortunes in life. I have a pretty awesome lifestyle and I have to pinch myself sometimes--how did I get here? Running helps bring it all into perspective, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteTotally!
Delete#3 and #5 are busy running mamas life savers!
ReplyDeleteAMEN! I don't know how I ever got along with either. :)
DeleteYes I can totally relate to many. #10 is especially sad. I dated a guy who was VERY unsupportive of anything active. Deal breaker.
ReplyDeleteTotally a deal breaker! I know I'm lucky to have a husband who gets it.
DeleteI am amazed that it's already mid-October. Where did this year go??
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on so many of these. Especially #8. Ugh. And I agree -- you have beautiful children!! My favorite part of being a mom is watching them sleep. So serene and calm - you can really appreciate your good work :)
Ugh! You're so right. This year just flew by!
DeleteYes to so many of these! Particularity relating to 7-10 right now!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you can relate to these. :)
DeleteI'm amazed that I tripped and fell running the same trail I've run hundreds of times before without issue... must have been due to too many random running thoughts!
ReplyDeleteI consider myself "At Risk" every time i run.
