Janji Review

Two things you might not know about me…

  1. I love workout clothes
  2. I love helping with causes that mean something to me
I will put my money and my time towards both of these things so when I can buy workout clothes that help in a charitable way I’m all over it.

I have talked about Janji before. It’s a brand making the difference in the world through one shirt, jacket or pair of shorts at a time. Janji has 7 lines of clothes all representing a different country in need of help. Depending on your style or conscious, you can help by purchasing something from any of these lines. In the past I’ve acquired a shirt and pair of shorts that have helped provide a growing season’s worth of water to a family in Kenya. That has to make you feel good right? Then couple that with the fact that the gear itself is functional, well fitting and just overall a great look and you have a win-win.

Recently I caught up with Mike from Janji at the Go! St. Louis expo and he told me about the newest lines and the work they are doing and I just got inspired again…inspired to shop. This time I wanted to help a little closer to home so went for something from their USA line. Each piece of clothing provides a meals to an American that would otherwise go hungry. I’m sorry, no one should every be hungry. It hurts my heart to think about. I try very hard here in St. Louis to help (donating canned goods, donating extra food from races to local crisis nursery) and I love that Janji does too. I can also tell you that just like the other gear, these clothes fit so well. I love the logo top. It has become one of my go-to shirts when I’m just hanging around the house or heading out for a brisk morning run. You can’t go wrong with this top.

If you haven’t heard of Janji, check them out. You are gonna love the vibrant colors, and the causes behind the clothes. Think about ordering something and if you do, you’ll be helping out more than just your wardrobe.

Here’s even more of an incentive: 25% off with code “MOMSLRB” when you buy the yellow shirt I'm wearing.   SHOP

What charities do you love helping when you race?
