Rock 'n' Roll Chicago is almost here!

Oh boy!  I am so excited!  I can't wait!  Rock 'n' Roll Chicago is right around the corner and that means road trippin, running and socializing!

This year is going to ROCK (pun intended).  I am really looking forward to everything.  I'm looking forward to trying to get my 5K PR on Saturday in the inaugural 5K.  I might even try to keep up with Shalane Flannigan who is pacing the 8/mile group to the finish of the 5K.  I mean really?!  Can you imagine running side by side with her even for a mile?  I might be star struck but I hope my legs will turn over.

I'm excited to meet up with as many of you as possible at the Expo on Saturday.  So far I know Dorothy, Pavement Runner and other awesome people are going to be kicking it at the expo.  So keep up with me on Twitter (MomsLRB) to find out where we are and let's meet up!  I have some GU and other swag I need to unload so please find me!  :)

I'm excited to explore the streets of Chicago.  I'm excited to meet up with one of my best friends and watch E explore the city!  Oh yeah, he's going with us this year!

If you're in the Midwest you're going to want to notice the new Midwest Challenge medal (4th in the picture).  If you run two of the following three events you are gonna score the new Midwest is Best Medal!  CHICAGO, ST. LOUIS, CLEVELAND.  I'll be at Chicago and St. Louis so I'm pumped to see this Midwest challenge.  We need love too.  But it's that last one that I'm going to leave as a mystery for the moment.  I'll tell you how I plan to score that one on Monday.  EXCITING NEWS COMING!  I'll share my fall race schedule!

But let's talk about Chicago a little more, the expos are so much fun at these events.  I could walk around all day talking to brands like Timex, Westin, Got Chocolate Milk, and so many more! It's like Black Friday for runners.  So many deals..so little time!
