Icebreaker Merino Wool Gear Review

It's hot around here these days.  I'm talking like 100+ so makes sense that I would decide that on one of the hottest day, today, to get my 6 mile run done since I'll be biking across middle of Missouri this weekend.

As I was getting ready to run today, I went to pick my outfit and the first thing I reached for might surprise you.  Wool.  Merino Wool by Icebreaker to be exact.

If you're like me you would have never even thought twice about wool in the summer months but through this collaboration with Icebreaker,  learned something.  Merino sheep actually have two different layers of wool.  Check it out here.
The texture of the summer coat is perfect for summer training and it has a HUGE advantage over polyester compariables..IT DOESN'T STINK.  No really, I've worn these clothes about 6 times all on really hot sweaty runs and they don't stink and I haven't washed them any special way.

So that that I've told you why you should like Icebreaker, let me tell you why you should LOVE it.  Style and function meet in everything they make.  I picked the Dart shorts, Spirit tank, and wool socks which I've always wanted to try.

Love this Icebreaker Merino Wool
My review: LOVE...I didn't think I would but I do.  I've worn them so much.  I will say, medium shorts and I should've ordered a small.  They are huge but still very comfortable.  The socks, are great for biking but for running, I like something a little thicker.  They are going with me to Bike MS tomorrow.  Don't know if you can see in the pictures but these clothes wicked away 6 miles of 98 degree miles.

Should you look into Icebreaker Merino wool?  Absolutely.  You will be surprised by how soft, functional and stylish it is.

Have you ever worn wool in the summer?
