July 4th Recap

Like most people, we tried to surround ourselves with family this weekend and had planned on it being pretty low stress.  However, on Friday, we signed a contract to sell our house so instead of bar-b-queuing we were house shopping.

I'm still a little bit in shock by the fact that we actually sold our house.  Now I know we still have to get through the inspection (which could be bad) but we're at a point where I need to wrap my brain around the fact that we're about to move out of my first house.  The house we got engaged in, the house I brought E home to, the house we but our blood sweat and tears in.  It's been more than just a structure to us.  We love this home and wouldn't be leaving if it weren't for our expanding family.

We visited about a dozen homes this weekend and didn't find one.  We're comparing everything we've seen to the first house we saw which we LOVED.  Nothing else seems to compare.  We're going shopping again this week so we'll see if we're able to find something that I can fall in love with.  It's so hard to take the high emotions out of this process and think logically. I'll keep you updated but in the meantime, a quick cute E story and some pics of our weekend (or really the babies)

Quick Story - This morning at 5:30, E woke up and I brought him in bed with me to snuggle for a little while till the alarm went off.  When I did have to get up, he was asleep so I surrounded him with pillows and got ready for work. I was about 4 feet from the bed when I started to hear him giggling.  When I looked over, he had completely turned, head down towards the headboard and was twitching like my dog does when she's chasing a rabbit in her sleep.  I couldn't help but laugh.  I wish I would've captured it.  But just recording the story will have to do.

OH..Also, my little 8 month old is standing.  I'll try and upload a video tonight.  He's getting pretty good.  I can't believe he'll be walking in no time.

 That's E's cousin M.

These are pictures I took from my parents/brothers apartment from downtown STL.  Beautiful!
Downtown STL.  I'm getting better at taking pictures.

  1. Hey! It's such an amazing blog I must say! So, full of colours!! I'm sure mothers would love it! Talking of mothers, my sister who just recently had a baby, told me about a website where there are some most amazing applications for baby monitoring, baby names as well as food and weight etc. Seeing many mothers would be delighted to see them, I so wanted to share it. So here you go: http://www.mobilemediacity.com/portfolio
