Take That Pinterest: Message Board + Giveaway Winners

I'm on a little break from school till early March and I planned on taking full advantage of it by accomplishing some of the MANY projects on my Pinterest boards.  I'm happy to report that I've just completed my second project.  S and I desperately needed someplace where we could leave notes and reminders so I found this idea on pinterest.  Luckily I could buy the lettering for $12 from SomeWhatSimple saving TONS of time and hassle.  Then it was just a matter of putting it all together.

I found a frame at Michael's on clearance for $15.  It was an 11x14 size. 

I used the board I have to cut fabric on to turn the frame into a big graph.  It made it SOOO easy to keep lines straight and measure exactly how much space I would need for the different parts of it. 

Then just like the directions said, I used a sharpie and old school ruler to draw the lines.  It went really quick.  Then I just cut the vinyl out and stuck it on.

Finally, I had some left over fabric which I just added to the inside of the frame and ta-da, done!  I can also change the fabric out to give it an entirely different look if I want.  I think it turned out great.  We are going to hang it right inside the house as you come in from the garage. 



What do you think?   I'm still figuring out what the next project is.  So much to do, so little time.
