Roadnoise Vest Review

I've been telling you about Hood to Coast and that one of my legs doesn't allow me to use earbuds.  That wouldn't be so bad if it weren't an almost 8 mile run.  I have to admit I was panicing a little bit but then something great happened.   RoadNoise Running and I got together and I was introduced to the very thing that is going to save my sanity...the RoadNoise Vest.

I had intended on doing this review earlier but I got distracted.  I then ran in it another time and realized I HAD to tell you about it PRONTO.  It's that cool.  I didn't want to just tell you about it though, I wanted you to see it.

Just in case you aren't able to see the video, let me just highlight a couple points:
1. It fits well.  The speakers don't bounce around.
2. They provide great sound without being over the top.
3. If you are running with kids, you could use this to play their music for them while you run.  (I do!)
4. There is reflective material on the front and back to keep you safe.
Ok, so there you have it.  I can't say enough about these vest.  They are essential to people who run at night and want to stay safe.
Go check them out.  You can follow them on twitter at https://twitter.com/RoadNoiseSports)

  1. That vest is interesting. I wonder if other's would be bothered by it during a race.....I have this problem when I bring my daughter. We also like to listen to music but I can't have my headphones on when I'm with her.

  2. This is a fantastic idea! I would love it for running with my kids or when I do another 24hr relay!

  3. I've had this on my pinterest wish list since I read about it in Runner's World earlier this year. Would be perfect for when I run alone in the dark - when I typically wear one ear bud. No ear buds would be better. Plus, that this is actually much more attractive than the reflective vest I have now.
