Mom and Toddler: Saucony Rides 6 Review

I believe I have been pretty honest about the bundle of energy that is most commonly referred to as E.  He started walking at 9 months which means we have been buying kid shoes for almost 2 years now. 

One thing that I've noticed is that early on, the demands on shoes are minimal but as kids grow up and start moving faster, their shoes need to respond to their tiny feet needs.  E is no different.  He beats up on shoes.  He plays hard.  He runs, he bikes, he wrestles and he is very picky about his shoes.

When Saucony approached us about reviewing the Ride 6s, I was definitely on board but I worried that E.  He is pretty particular about his shoes add to that the need for a wide and it could've been a recipe for disaster.  When they arrived, E recognized right away that he was getting a pair of 9 "running shoes" like mama's and daddies.

First let's talk about E's shoes. Like I said before, my kid has boxes for feet.  They are wide which has made buying shoes challenging.  His little pontoon feet need room and there just aren't many options for kids with wide feet.  So when I found out the Saucony Ride 6 came in wides, I was super happy.   E was happy because they coordinated well with his current favorite "jimmies" and cup.

E was eager to take them on a test so we hoped on the bike and took off on a bike ride.  Again, E was pleased because they not only matched his bike but they also kept him peddling along for about a good half mile until this happened.  Totally not the shoes fault.  It's all that little slope in the drive way that did it.  :)  Check it out for yourself - Here.  I think what makes these such quality shoes is the powerhouse combo of Saucony and Stride Rite.  Here's a few additional features of the Kid's Wave 6s.

E wasn't the only one who was treated..I also got a new pair of Wave 6s and they have rocked my world.  I

have run two races in them and they have performed like a champ.  But when I'm not racing, you can almost always find E and I on the trail.  Saucony sent us the latest BOB Revolution SE to take out, I was floored.  I had an slightly older model which was great and I was happy to see that the  newest model just improved upon an already great design.
