Reebok ZQuick Shoe Review

The following post is sponsored by FitFluential LLC on behalf of Reebok

I love shoes and I was a little jealous back in November when E got to try out some Reebok Venture Flex shoes. You see, I love Reebok. The brand has been around for so long and I can associate a pair a specific pair of Reeboks to fond memories going way back. Lately the brand has been knocking it out of the part with their CrossFit brand and now they are revamping their running shoe line up and I couldn’t be more excited for them.

Their newest shoe is called the ZQuick, awesome name by the way, and it’s designed for speed. This shoes will make you unnaturally quick. I took mine on a few treadmill tests and while I could appreciate the flexibility the shoe offered in the soul, I wasn’t able to truly understand how this shoe was different until I went to Ram’s camp last Sunday.

The camp was awesome, We got to see the Ram’s locker room and weight room and even do some drills. The one I loved the most was the 40 Yard Dash and I was excited to try this shoe out in its’ natural setting. Now some of the speed demons of the NFL are running a 40 in 4 seconds and while I wasn’t that quick, I definitely could tell this shoe was performing during the sprint.

These shoes also performed well during the football toss and looked great with Football pads even if I didn’t look so good.
One of the things that makes this shoe pretty cool is that Reebok has taken into account the dynamics of the foot itself.

“Your foot changes in dimension when you put weight on. When your foot is completely weighted, it’ s about 5mm wider than when it’s in the air. That’s your own naturally handling feature. Your foot spreads out on impact to distribute force over a broader base. To accommodate for that natural handling feature we built slashes into the bottom unit that go all the way to the lasting board so that your Z-series shoe spreads with you.”

On a slightly less technical point, this shoe has a very sleek modern look which makes it a perfect pairing with Jeans. It’s extremely versatile that way. Want to check them out for yourself?

You can find them online at Reebok or at FinishLine
