St. Louis Fashion Week Is Coming

I know, I know...what do I know about Fashion?  The honest answer is not much, but I do know that Fashion Week here in the STL is a lot of fun.  Produced by Alive Magazine, Fashion Week is April 23-25 and tickets are just $15 per show which makes it really accessible for everyone.

St. Louis Fashion Week 2014

I was invited to attend a VIP Blogger event last night so I went to check it out.  I thought for sure I would stick out, seeing as though my fashion sense extends to workout clothes and some business formal attire but nothing on trend but I went anyway.

I had a ton of fun!  The brands they had for us to meet were all local, which I loved, and a great blend of fashion, fitness, beauty, food and drink.

One of the highlights for me was meeting TriFlare.  They are a local St. Louis start up created by Andrea Robertson, a triathlete that wanted to race with style.  She created a line of trisuits for women and has taken her style out of the transition area and into the Olympic Synchronized Swimming Pool.  TriFlare landed the contract to design and outfit the the team.

There were so many great people that turned out for the event, I really did forget that I was a fish out of water.  I enjoyed seeing passionate people in their element.  It really created a cool vibe.  Similar to the start of a race but everyone is in high heels instead of running shoes.  :)  You can see the rest of the pictures on my instagram.
