January Just Got Better

I don't really want to spoil every one's amazing summer but fall will be here before you know it and then BOOM...just like that 2015 is here and you're trying to figure out what races you want to do next year.

I know, I know...it's kind of depressing to think about but it doesn't have to be!  You can start 2015 off with a bang or at least a good sweat.  Have something to look forward to and come out and run with me!

That's right!  Come January when it's freezing in St. Louis, I'll be hoping on a plane and heading out west to Phoenix to run the Rock 'n' Roll Half!

I am so excited!  I have been wanting to do this run for a LONG time and 2015 is the year!

This is the first time I've registered for a race in January so I'll be curious to see what training is like.  I'm hoping the fall weather will extend long into December.  :)

I think I've even convinced my husband (who has never run a race) to do the 5K.  People, this is HUGE!!

Ok, so sign up...come run with us.  If you sign up now, and use code: MOMSLRBAZ, you will $90 for a half marathon of party!!! Sign up!

These Rock 'n' Roll events are world class!  You have to see it for yourself!

Don't forget about Rock 'n' Roll Los Angeles if you sign up in August, you'll get this race for less than $100!

Oh and I have it on good authority that some pretty blinging news will be revealed for the STL race that will make you want to register.  $10 off with code: MOMSLRBSTL

Do you have any destination races planned?  What are you looking most forward too?  Have you ever run this race?  Any pointers?

  3. You are going to love it!! RnR AZ is an awesome course - I've run both the full and the half! Good luck with the training!
P.S. - I'll be moving about 2 hours west of you in March!! I'll be heading to Fort Leonard Wood!

  4. The desert heat means no races in AZ in the summer. So, my last 8 races were all out of state! You're in the Lou? For some reason I thought you were in ChiTown. I spent 2 years in "St.Louis"...actually it was more like Jefferson County in a podunk town called Arnold =)

  7. So fun! Will you be taking the kiddos to all these races or will it be a husband/wife vaca?

  8. I think a winter 1/2 will be great! Most of your training will be in the cool, but not cold months. Great idea!
