I know, I know...it's kind of depressing to think about but it doesn't have to be! You can start 2015 off with a bang or at least a good sweat. Have something to look forward to and come out and run with me!
That's right! Come January when it's freezing in St. Louis, I'll be hoping on a plane and heading out west to Phoenix to run the Rock 'n' Roll Half!
I am so excited! I have been wanting to do this run for a LONG time and 2015 is the year!
This is the first time I've registered for a race in January so I'll be curious to see what training is like. I'm hoping the fall weather will extend long into December. :)
I think I've even convinced my husband (who has never run a race) to do the 5K. People, this is HUGE!!

The desert heat means no races in AZ in the summer. So, my last 8 races were all out of state! You're in the Lou? For some reason I thought you were in ChiTown. I spent 2 years in "St.Louis"...actually it was more like Jefferson County in a podunk town called Arnold =)

ReplyDeleteI think a winter 1/2 will be great! Most of your training will be in the cool, but not cold months. Great idea!
