Mom and Baby Workouts

After yesterday's "situation" at the gym, E and I came home and we went on a short run (long enough to keep my #RWRunStreak alive) and then played and played and played.  What I realized as I was playing is that a lot of what I do with E is in one way or another strength training.  So I had this really great idea where I'd do an instructional vlog of all the great exercises you can do with your toddler.  So after about...oh I don't know..12 takes, I got something that resembled a vlog worth sharing so I thought I would.

Basically, let me leave you with this.  You can turn any situation into an opportunity to get fit.  You don't have to go to a class, or the gym or even a structured run.  As parents, we learn to adapt and the point in this vlog is to show you that rolling around with your kids can be just as energizing or calorie burning as that gym session.

SUPER PROFESSIONAL VLOG ABOUT FITNESS MOVES TO DO WITH TODDLERS

NOT SO PROFESSIONAL OUTTAKE - when Toddlers go crazy!

On a side note, I've been nominated as "The Mom Who Does It All" over at EnlistMoms.com  I'd love it if you would head over there and vote.  It's easy, no registration required.

  1. Hahaha I love the outtakes. E seems just my little guy. Too cute! I've also never though of how much 'strength training' I do a day by just toting him around. Awesome videos. :)

    1. Thanks! I was over it at one point. I should've recorded this exactly when we actually do it at home (right when I get home from work) and before the gym.
