Blends Reunited and Family Fun

So I'm just gonna put it out there, come clean.  I did NOT get my long run done this week.  I chose, instead to spend the weekend traveling to see my grandmother and a very special friend I haven't gotten to see in a long time.

My Nana means the world to me.  I owe her so much...she is the reason I even started this blog.  WAY back when, when I got pregnant with E, it was her idea that I start it so she could keep up with all things pregnancy.  Take a trip down memory lane here!

So after a great night at home, we had to get ready for soccer and our little road trip.
Soccer didn't go all that well this week but we did manage to get our pictures taken.  Mini E got chased around by some other toddlers who were yelling "Teddy".  It was so cute!

After soccer we loaded up the car and headed to Champaign.  The three hour car ride was well worth it to see my grandmother and have a very special play date!  Jess (aka BlondePonytail.com) and I ran Hood to Coast together in 2012 and it's been that long since we've seen each other so when I heard they were moving to Champaign, I was so excited!

After unpacking and realizing the kids had a lot of pent up energy, we headed to see Jess and Jada and Spencer and Cooper.
How life has changed since 2012 but I wouldn't change it for the world!  These two were so adorable together.  See, they even have matching bellies.  Jada is about as cute as can be.
E loved the climbing wall.  He wasn't exactly sure how it worked at first.
Seriously, I love when bloggers become friends!  There will be so many more play dates in our future and maybe even some workouts and runs!

Sunday came too quickly but we had time to try to snap a few pictures of the kids.  Here are just a few in their Sunday best.

Ok, so they all can't be good.  Either way, this weekend was worth missing my long run.

How was your weekend?  What blogger would you love to meet in person?
